Optimising Your Route

Save time and fuel by automatically reordering your daily jobs for the most efficient route. A Premium feature that typically saves 30-45 minutes per day.

1

Set up your starting location first

Before you can optimise routes, you need to tell the app where you start your day. Tap the dashed card at the top of your job list (or tap the day summary header) to open working hours settings, then set your starting location.

💡You only need to do this once. After that, route optimisation uses your saved location automatically.
2

Open the Planner and select a day

Tap the 'Planner' tab and select the day you want to optimise. You need at least 2 scheduled jobs that aren't completed or skipped.

3

Check the day summary

At the top of your job list, you'll see work time and travel time for the day. If any jobs are missing duration estimates, you'll see a warning—add durations to get more accurate ETAs.

4

Tap 'Optimise route'

Tap the 'Optimise route' button. A sheet opens showing your job count, total work time, and your configured starting location. The app uses this to calculate the best order.

💡Completed and skipped jobs are automatically excluded—only pending jobs are optimised.
5

Review the results

Your jobs are reordered for the shortest total driving time. You'll see a notification showing how many minutes you've saved and your total day duration (work + travel).

6

Check your ETAs

After optimising, each job shows an ETA badge with your expected arrival time. As you complete jobs throughout the day, ETAs update automatically based on your actual progress.

💡You can still manually reorder jobs by dragging—ETAs will recalculate.
